How To Prepare for Your First Visit
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily, since you will be tested and adjusted from head to toe. If you wear a dress or skirt, bring or wear shorts underneath. Bring any MRI or X-ray reports you already have, because Dr. Ruiz reviews imaging but does not take X-rays in the office. New patient paperwork is completed in the office, so plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to handle your forms. All visits are by appointment only, and there are no walk-ins.
Your First Appointment, Step By Step
Your first visit is a one-day onboarding process and usually takes about 45 minutes, though it can range from 30 minutes to an hour. After you complete your intake forms, Dr. Ruiz will sit down with you for a focused consultation to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. He will then perform an examination that includes posture and range-of-motion testing to assess how your whole body is functioning.
Based on what he finds, he decides if you and this style of care are a good fit and if the Ring Dinger® decompression is appropriate for you. When you are a candidate, he provides a full-body chiropractic adjustment followed by the Ring Dinger® Y-axis decompression on that same first visit.

Most second and returning visits last about 15-20 minutes, with a brief check-in, followed by an adjustment tailored to you based on your first exam. All care is pay-per-visit with no prepaid plans, and Dr. Ruiz personally explains his fees during your initial consultation so you know costs up front.
His fees are higher than most chiropractors in Chino because he offers advanced full-body adjustments and Ring Dinger® decompression that are not widely available. He does not accept insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, car accident cases, or work-related injury cases; all care is paid out of pocket. Payment methods we accept include:

Our office is in the El Centro Real Plaza near the 60 Freeway and Central Avenue, across the street from IHOP and McDonald’s. You will find us in the two-story medical building at the back of the plaza, with free parking in front and behind the building and elevator access to the second floor. There are no new patient specials at this time, which helps keep your fees simple and straightforward.
